Cochran has spent 33 years at Navistar in a variety of roles, including many years at NFC. Previously, she served as President of Navistar Parts for eight years. Under her leadership, the parts business nearly doubled in revenue and profit, growing at an average compound annual growth rate of 15 percent in recent years. She led the organization to create the groundwork for a rapidly growing global business and to launch a military parts support effort that reached $800 million in sales. She has also focused the team on customer support, championing initiatives to improve parts availability and uptime for Navistar products. Cochran is also a strong leader of people: she recognizes that people are key to results, and she invests in building teams, culture and relationships to get results. Cochran is a member of Navistar’s executive council, which is responsible for setting management’s strategic direction. The executive council is guiding the company to reach $20 billion in revenue by 2015 through a three-pillar strategy of great products, competitive costs, and profitable growth, designed to put the company at the forefront of the industry with its International® commercial and military vehicles, IC Bus™ school and commercial buses, and MaxxForce® diesel engines. Prior to joining Navistar, Cochran worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen for five years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and is a certified public accountant. Cochran serves on the boards of the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, The Mosaic Company, and the Women in Trucking Association, and she is a member of C200, The Chicago Network and Women Corporate Directors.
