The Women In Trucking board of directors wants your input. In a recent strategic planning session the board of directors formed four committees to better understand the needs of our members. The committees are; Communication and Image, Education, Events and Recognition, and Membership.

The committees will be setting a meeting schedule and determine their charter before setting goals (long and short term). These goals will then be shared with the full board for consideration and approval. If needed, a budget will be provided once the metrics to determine the progress of the group is established.

Each committee will include two or more directors, but our objective is to include members in these discussions. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please send an email to ellen@womenintrucking.org and tell us which committee you would like to be on and provide a brief introduction to yourself. I will forward these to the appropriate committee for their consideration.
