Advice to New Truck Drivers » Alley Dock Backing from a 90 for my test Sep 27, 2007 09:21 AM (Total replies: 0)

Hi everybody! I'm looking for input on alley dock backing from a 90 for my CDL test. With the boundaries they put up it seems impossible with the truck and trailer I'm using. I thought I'd be able to back into a 45 and then drive it in but there isn't room. Any advice? We're only allowed to get out of the truck twice (and I'm saving those for the very last part, to make sure my bumper is in the box it needs to be in) and four pullups. Should I look for a smaller truck / trailer?
