Cliff Johnson, Acuity’s in-house trucking consultant, provides more than 30 years of industry experience to the trucking industry. As a young man, he began his career in the trucking industry, operating intrastate before expanding his operations into 48 states and Canada. Over time, his experience provided him opportunities to work in several related industries, all having a trucking component.
A master’s degree in Risk Control, combined with an extensive business background, has enabled Johnson to manage and consult on operational and safety issues for numerous transportation companies, improving their return on investment (ROI) and Compliance Safety and Accountability (CSA) scores.
Beyond assisting motor carriers with regulatory compliance, Johnson focuses on helping motor carriers identify opportunities in managing their operations and enhance their competitiveness in the ever changing economic, regulatory, technological, and employment climate.
