    The Artistic Voice

    Former celebrity publicist, Evette Fergerson is a serial entrepreneur who is an expert on living a fearless lifestyle. She is a speaker and the Chief Executive Officer of Z. Harper Candles. A poetic writer who is set to release her poetry book, The Many Moods of a Woman, this fall, and the host of The Artistic Voice Podcast.
     
    Growing up in South Central Los Angeles was a real training ground for her life, where she learned the art of getting out of her comfort zone and pushing past her fears to fulfill her goals and dreams. Many people struggle with being their biggest roadblocks. As a speaker, Fergerson is passionate about helping people break through those barriers that are holding them back in order to elevate their lives to the next level. Her goal is to help those struggling to find their way. Restructure their life plan, and gain clarity on successfully pushing forward to go after their dreams, and achieving their goals, one step at a time. Which takes focus, discipline, and an inner drive that some people forget to recharge and ignite the desire to win.
     
    A graduate of Grambling State University, Fergerson started her career in radio as a DJ and worked with several radio stations including KRVV Hot 100 Radio (Monroe, LA), KYEA K98 FM Radio (Monroe, LA), Stevie Wonder's radio station KJLH 102.3 FM (Inglewood, CA), Personal Achievement Radio (Los Angeles, CA) and Bailey Broadcasting (Los Angeles, CA). Fergerson went on to work in promotions and media relations for Quincy Jones' recording label Qwest/Warner Bros Records, working with artists such as Tevin Campbell, Tamia, Pattie Austin Tata Vega, Tech N9ne, Saafir, and of course Quincy Jones, among others. She moved on to become a Public Relations Representative for Elektra Entertainment, where she continued to work with some of the music industry's most famous artists such as Missy Elliott, Bjork, Yolanda Adams, Fabolous, Keith Sweat, Jason Mraz, Lil Mo, and Tweet. After leaving Elektra Entertainment, Fergerson  became a Publicist for The Courtney Barnes Group, where she worked with artists, such as Ray J, Brandy, Smokey Robinson, Melody Thomas Scott (The Young and The Restless), Kim Fields, George Benson, choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson, Chingy, Sara Creative Partners, producer Hi-Tek (Aftermath Ent., Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common), producer RedOne (Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey), country artist Miko Marks, Raven Goodwin, Jesse Powell, George Huff (American Idol) and Paris Bennett (American Idol).  
     
    Today, Evette Fergerson is living out her dreams of being a speaker, motivating others to push past their limitations. She’s also the owner and operator of Z. Harper Candles, which manufactures candles that sparkle when lit. Fergerson is excited to release her first book this fall entitled, The Many Moods of a Woman and is the host of The Artistic Voice podcast which is gearing up for Season 3 in the Spring and can be heard on Spotify, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts and RadioPublic. Evette Fergerson is a single mother to her beautiful eight-year-old daughter Zoe and they reside in Dallas, Texas.
