Kellylynn McLaughlin

Professional Driver

Kellylynn McLaughlin is a professional driver and served on the 2021 FMCSA Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee Driver Panel. She has been in the industry for almost 5 years and operates dry van trailers.

She resides in Edmond, Oklahoma and served as the first Women In Trucking Driver Ambassador. In this role, she traveled the country and spoke at truck schools, military and high school career fairs to share the joys and advantages of being a professional truck driver.

Kellylynn's work schedule has her on the road anywhere from 6-21 days per month.

Before she got in the driver’s seat, served in the Peace Corps, and was a professional instructor  in passenger safety. It was as the director of logistics for her kids’ marching band that she discovered she loved everything about driving a truck and the problem solving it entailed.

Kellylynn has a degree from the Oklahoma State University in interior design. She has a passion for traveling internationally and when she is at home loves rowing, home improvements, gardening and spending time with her friends and family.

Trucking is an incredibly rewarding career and there is so much opportunity, especially for women. As the Women In Trucking Ambassador, it is my mission to effect change in this industry in a positive way for women and for men — for every driver."
