“How Popular Culture Shapes Young People’s Image of Trucking”
The Adcom Group presents its research on how the popular culture portrayal of the trucking industry and truckers affects young people’s decisions whether to enter the industry – and provides insights as to how the portrayal affects young women specifically. This quantitative research will provide attendees with the ability to:

  • Identify how the popular culture portrayal of trucking helps and/or hurts recruitment
  • Learn the thought processes of the young people who did join the industry.
  • Learn what messages resonate most with that audience and/or do the best job of countering the negative portrayals in popular culture.

Presenters: Hallie Fisher, Vice President of Transportation; Craig Martin, Partner, The Adcom Group.
