We’ve also included our innovative pre-trip exterior light inspection feature to make sure everything’s working as it should be before the journey begins.
Freightliner will be featuring a 126” BBC 72” RR Sleeper. It will have the DD15 Gen 5 engine coupled with the DT12 transmission and Detroit axles. It will have the full aero package as well as Detroit Assurance 5.0 and the new Digital Dash Display. It also features the panic button which actually came about several years ago because of feedback from WIT.

The Volvo is built for the needs of today’s—and tomorrow’s—long-haul trucking operations. Combined with setting the standard for aerodynamic performance and our next generation Volvo D13TC engine, the Volvo VNL is designed to help customers save fuel on virtually any load and route for highway applications. Up above, the roof air deflector complements the cab fairings, keeping the airflow attached and smoothing out costly turbulence between the cab and trailer. Down below, we've added to our aerodynamic offerings with the new FlowBelow Tractor AeroKit™. The package includes a system of wheel covers and fairings designed for improved aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. Out in front, the VNL features a hood, bumper and low airflow deflector, which work together to quickly manage airflow and efficiently channel it rearward.
Down where the rubber meets the road, redesigned chassis fairings optimize airflow past the drive wheels and tractor-trailer gap. To improve visibility and reduce maintenance, Volvo employs LED bulbs for all exterior lighting. All models feature LED high/low beam headlights, as well as LED turn, marker, and parking lamps.
The premium headlamp also features a “signature” LED daytime running light. Combine I-Shift with an intelligent cruise control and you get I-See. It's a unique system that learns the topography of the road. Later on, it automatically uses its knowledge to save fuel when the intelligent cruise control is engaged.

This Phase 1 579EV was built in 2017, and has operated in varying applications in California, South Carolina, and Texas. Funded by California Climate Investments through California Air Resources Board (CARB) and South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), these early demonstration vehicles helped provide data and customer feedback to mold Peterbilt’s new 579EV that is currently in production and available for order. The Phase 1 has 264 kWh battery capacity, 70-90 miles of range, and charges in 3-4 hours. The drivetrain is a midship design, with an electric motor driving a standard driveshaft and axles. Regenerative breaking was included on this model, with three selectable settings.
In contrast, the new 579EV has 396 kWh battery capacity, 150 mil range, and charges in the same 3-4 hours. The batteries can now be automatically heated or cooled to protect against extreme temperatures and ensure efficient operation. Rather than the midship drivetrain design, the new model features E-axles. Regenerative breaking is included and much more refined.

2022 Peterbilt 567 vacuum truck equipped with 530 CFM Fruitland vacuum pump, Newson Gale grounding system, Samsara Electronic Logging Device. Clean Harbors owns 1,300 vacuum trucks that are used to supply the oilfield, drilling, industrial and environmental areas with the safest, most efficient methods of transporting, cleaning and handling of waste and product. Our vacuum trucks have the ability to haul oil or clean up a variety of products such as oil, water, sand and other forms of waste or fluid.
Schneider has partnered with WIT by having the WIT Driver Ambassador Kellylynn McLaughlin drive a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia tractor with Detroit DT12 automated transmission.
