WHY PRESENT
WIT's mission is to champion the employment and advancement of women in trucking, foster connections, and recognize achievements—and this conference is one of the most powerful ways we bring that mission to life. If your organization’s goals align with ours, presenting offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to industry progress while elevating your brand alongside a respected community.
By sharing your expertise, you position yourself and your team as credible thought leaders and subject matter experts. Speaking at Accelerate! can open doors to professional growth, stronger visibility, and new business relationships.
Please note: All proposed content must be educational and non-commercial in nature. Promotional presentations will not be considered.
WHO ATTENDS
More than 1,200 professionals attend the Accelerate! Conference & Expo each year, representing every corner of the commercial freight transportation industry — from motor carriers and 3PLs to OEMs, tech innovators, and driver-focused organizations. Attendees span all levels and roles, from professional drivers to senior executives. Key session tracks include:
- Leadership
- HR/Talent Management
- Operations & Safety
- Sales & Marketing
- Professional Driver
- Professional Development
PREPARING YOUR PROPOSAL
Our attendees are looking for take-way information that they can apply to improve their own business strategies, processes, practices, and operations. Case studies or best practices are ideal, but we also look for proposed presentations that provide practical tips on a specific topic or issue - as well as market intelligence that is relevant to the industry. That said, keep in mind that your proposal should have an angle that ties back to the need and importance of women in the workplace.
It's recommended that you invest time in preparing a Word document that outlines the following items that are requested in completing the Online Presentation Proposal Form below. This way, it should be easy to then complete the online form in 10 minutes or less.
- Submitter Contact Information
- Proposed Presentation Title (you can submit up to 3 separate presentation topics)
- Relevant Tracks for Your Proposed Topic (Leadership, HR/Talent Management, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Safety & Compliance)
- Proposed Presentation Description (no more than 150 words)
- Learning Objectives (Identify at least 3)
- Proposed speaker(s) - please include their name, title, company, and brief bio history. (Please note: It's important that you confirm the interest level of these individuals before submitting their names).
SPEAKER POLICY
We welcome speakers who are passionate about supporting the Women In Trucking Association’s mission and sharing their expertise with our community. As with many nonprofit organizations, WIT does not offer complimentary registrations for speakers, nor do we reimburse travel or hotel expenses. Registration revenue directly offsets the substantial costs of hosting the conference, including food and beverage, audiovisual production, and venue services.
That said, many past speakers — from industry practitioners to professional presenters — report that participating in Accelerate! delivers significant value. Speakers frequently gain new clients, build strategic partnerships, and enhance their visibility. Additionally, 45% of our attendees make or influence decisions related to hiring speakers for their own events, creating meaningful opportunities for future engagements.
