Mathers' commitment to community service extends beyond her professional endeavors. She serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, leveraging her expertise to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in Birmingham Sister Cities, where she heads the internal affairs committee, providing strategic direction and guidance as an HR leader. Her involvement with the Second Chance committee reflects her passion for empowering individuals who have been justice impacted, offering training, conflict management, and employment opportunities to facilitate their reintegration into society.
