Women In Trucking Association maintains a professional scholarship program that enables individuals to attend the Accelerate! Conference & Expo taking place Nov. 10-13 in Dallas, TX.
Recipients of the scholarship find value in attending in these ways:
Experience 70+ educational sessions featuring 100+ thought leaders and subject matter experts on transportation, supply chain, and gender issues.
Various educational areas of focus to provide diverse content in Leadership, Professional Development, HR/Talent Management, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Driver Issues.
Build a professional network and make connections with professionals who work in the North American transportation industry.
This program pays for the conference registration fees – which includes access to all educational sessions, the expo, receptions, and many meals during the conference. (Applicants will be responsible for their own transportation, hotel, and any other related expenses).
In 2024, WIT will reward 4 individuals with scholarships that will pay the registration fees to attend the conference (approximately $1,000 in value).
These scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified applicants currently enrolled in an area college or university majoring or minoring in transportation, logistics, operations, or related educational program. Applicants also can be attending a professional driving school or any other vocational training.
Recipients will be asked to volunteer some limited time to gain experience and network with other conference attendees – all while helping to ensure the event is a success.
