At Clean Harbos, we strategically have established a DE&I pathway in creating a culture of connection within for our ERGs, we call this our DE&I journey.
 
This session will share the overview of how we as an organization have developed a strategic plan to achieving a culture of connection within our ERGs, while supporting the development of our ERG leaders to be effective champions for promoting DE&I across the organization. Attend this session to:

    Angelika Mangino

    Culture and Engagement Manager
    Clean Harbors

    Distinguished executive HR leader Angelika Mangino supports with talent acquisition, culture/engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusivity at Clean Harbors. With more than 22 years of experience in hiring and retaining employees at all levels of an organization, she is skilled at creating compelling short and long-term strategic plans, goals, and visions to move DE&I initiatives forward. Her efforts include measurable outcomes, communicating a call to action, and building high performing teams who are passionate and enthusiastic about achieving organizational objectives and goals through the lends of equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice.
     
    Much of her passion behind employee engagement comes from her background in education, as she started her career as an educator teaching young children and then advanced into a director role, overseeing several educational facilities in early childhood. Eventually, Mangino soon advanced her career within the corporate HR world and began training and development programs, instilling culture and engagement at the forefront of the business.
     
    As the Culture and Engagement Manager, she has led and supported the CDL Sponsorship Program across the organization, while being the corporate liaison and partner to Women In Trucking. In 2022, she awarded the first female truck wrap at the WIT Accelerate! Conference to tenure driver, Cathy Spencer.
     
    Mangino acts as the advisory for all seven employee resource groups at Clean Harbors and spearheads the lead ambassador program across an organization of 22K employees. In addition, she is overseeing all employee engagement initiatives, such as the annual employee engagement survey.
