With more than 22 years of experience in hiring and retaining employees at all levels of an organization, she is skilled at creating compelling short and long-term strategic plans, goals, and visions to move DE&I initiatives forward. Much of her passion behind employee engagement comes from her background in education, as she started her career as an educator teaching young children and then advanced into a director role, overseeing several educational facilities in early childhood. Eventually, Mangino soon advanced her career within the corporate HR world and began training and development programs, instilling culture and engagement at the forefront of the business.
As the Culture and Engagement Manager, she has led and supported the CDL Sponsorship Program across the organization, while being the corporate liaison and partner to Women In Trucking. In 2022, she awarded the first female truck wrap at the WIT Accelerate! Conference to tenure driver, Cathy Spencer.
Mangino acts as the advisory for all seven employee resource groups at Clean Harbors and spearheads the lead ambassador program across an organization of 22K employees. In addition, she is overseeing all employee engagement initiatives, such as the annual employee engagement survey.
