Tracks: Leadership, HR/Talent Management, Operations & Safety
How do you create an environment that enables all people to thrive every day? It has to be within your organization’s DNA and mission. It means involving everyone in the room, and proactively creating leadership frameworks where everyone can succeed from the outset. When you do this, you have the power to attract the best tech minds that can accelerate the transportation industry into today’s digital world so that truck drivers can be supported not only during the week, but nights, weekends, and holidays. Creating a positive environment for all, including women, can help elevate the industry to achieve new heights.
Triumph Financial (TFIN) is a success story for this framework: women represent 63% of the overall team member population at TFIN, 33% of management at SVP and EVP levels, and women represent 40% of the TriumphPay team. In an industry where 31.6% of C-suite executives are women and 36.9% of company leaders are female, TFIN can share important touchstones for success. Attend this session to learn:

Melissa Forman is President at TriumphPay, where she leads a team that created the industry’s first ever open payments network for the trucking industry. She has held numerous leadership roles in the transportation sector, where less than 15% of executive leaders are women. Forman also held various roles in finance, including nearly a decade leading sales and strategic partnerships for eCapital and several years with ACS Expedited Services, where she oversaw multiple software-as-a-service programs servicing thousands of trucks. Her business acumen and experience supports her ability to provide insights on the trucking ecosystem and the technological innovation that is changing how payments are made and transactions are handled among carriers, brokers, shippers and factors.
