Prior to Clean Harbors, she worked at Republic Services, AkzoNobel, Eastman Chemical, Solutia Inc., and Monsanto. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston.

Erica Manento is vice president of HR operations at Penske Transportation Solutions, the umbrella brand for Penske Truck Leasing, Penske Logistics, Epes Transport Systems and Penske Vehicle Services. In her role, Erica oversees multiple HR operations including Penske’s Diversity & Inclusion team, Penske’s field and corporate HR teams, and the organization’s centralized HR team. She is passionate about creating and supporting organizational initiatives that benefit both the company and the associate. She is a leader who is always balancing short-term solutions with long-term strategies to meet the business and people where they are while setting them up for success in the future.
Erica has nearly 20 years of experience as a human resources leader. A decade of that experience has been in the transportation industry. Erica holds a number of certifications that have been integral to her work including: “Principles and Practices of Organizational Design,” from Teachers College, Columbia University, “Coaching” from the Center for Creative Leadership, (CCL), and certifications in the areas of 360 feedback, personality assessment and change leadership. Erica earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Cedar Crest College and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.
