Creating the Magic: What Makes a Company Great for Women? (Panel Discussion)

Trey began his career as a high school physics teacher & coach, also spending much of his time working with students as a youth pastor.

In 2010, Trey transitioned to a career in sales and marketing, cutting his teeth in door-to-door office supply sales for 15 months before accepting an opportunity with a tech company in transportation & logistics. In his first year, Trey earned Sales Rep of the Year and was quickly promoted to Enterprise Sales where he led the team in revenue-generation each of the following three years.

In subsequent roles, Trey not only exceeded his sales targets, but he also became the face and the voice of the companies he represented, building a personal brand on social media to create familiarity and trust among prospects, clients and partners.

Trey enjoys coaching executives and their teams to be excellent, as well as speaking on leadership & organizational structure. He also spends time as a branding consultant working with CMOs, CROs, CSOs, CEOs and other sales & marketing leaders within organizations.  

Trey also loves podcasting, focusing on moderating panels and interviewing guests. He hosts three weekly podcasts, including The Word on the Street, Iron Minds with Hayden Allred & The Full Send Podcast with PGA Tour Player Jared Wolfe, as well as a daily video podcast, Standing Out.

When he’s not helping companies build their brands, you can find Trey spending time with his wife of 17 years, Tammy, and their two beautiful daughters, Hannah (14) & Naomi (12), traveling together by plane, train or RV, renovating their home, playing golf, working out, reading, and writing & playing music. 

• Vice President, Engineering for Navistar Inc from March 2020 to present.  She provides leadership and accountability for the engineering organization and overall performance of Chassis, Electrical, Body and Plant Engineering. She is also leading the Design Thinking Innovation implementation at Navistar.

• Executive Director for Supplier and Operations Quality Improvement at Collins Aerospace, United Technology Corporation from September 2017 to February 2020.  She held various responsibilities in many business units for the implementation of Zero Defect Plan for operations and suppliers.

• Senior Director for Supplier Quality at PACCAR from 2013 to 2017 and was responsible for the worldwide supplier quality performance. She was also Assistant Chief Engineer at Peterbilt Company from 2007 to 2013. While at Peterbilt, she was responsible for 10 engineering departments including the implementation of the Innovation – Human Centered Design/Design Thinking.  She led the innovative design team of COE (Cab Over Engine) achieving the 2021 American Truck Dealer Medium Duty “Truck of the Year” and the Global Manufacturing Award from Frost and Sullivan Best practices. 
  
  
• Extensive design engineering, quality, reliability, testing, Six Sigma, and program management experience from Ford, Caterpillar and Lockheed Martin.

She obtained her MBA and Master degrees in Industrial Technology from Eastern Michigan University and Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from Adamson University, Philippines. She obtained an executive certificate from Stanford University focusing on Innovation and a certificate from INSEAD Business School on Global Leadership.

Her industry experience has included conducting business and developing relationships in more than 30 countries. When working with others, she strives to promote creative thinking, develop and mentor new leaders and help find ways for teams to be successful.

LaTres Jarrett leads transformational growth strategies at Bridgestone, a $23B global company.   Her diverse career includes engineering, brand management, and business development at Fortune 500 companies.  In her current role, as Executive Director of Commercial Sales, LaTres leads a cross-channel sales team accountable for profitable portfolio growth across Canada.   
 
LaTres’ teams have exceeded businesses targets amid strategic challenges and industry downturns.  A key hallmark of her success is visionary and energetic leadership style, resilient commitment to serve customers and effective communication. 
 
She invests in talent recruitment/development by championing recruiting initiatives, mentoring programs and serving on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Counsel.
 
A graduate of University of Louisville and University of Michigan, LaTres enjoys international travel with her husband and has a passion for community service.

Nikita D. Rhodes is a dynamic HR Leader with more than 20 years of progressive experience leading HR efforts in large organizations. She is a trusted advisor that has a proven ability to develop innovative HR solutions while creating authentic connections with business leaders to influence and drive organizational success. Nikita has experience with standing up a HR shared services center moving tactical processes into a shared services environment and transforming the focus of HR into a more strategic function. Nikita is adept at balancing the needs of employees with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Trina Norman has worked at UPS in the field of Sales and Operations for 32 years.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Grambling State University in 1990 and a Master of Business Administration/Technology from the University of Phoenix in 2003.

Trina Norman is the South Cal Feeder Operations Manager. Her responsibilities include managing (4 Division Managers, 463 managers & Supervisors, and 3,101 CDL Feeder drivers) and providing professional training, leadership, mentoring and coaching.

On a global level, Norman lends her leadership to global change. In October of 2016, she attended UPS DTS (Driver Training School) in South Holland Illinois where she became a Certified Feeder Driver Trainer. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated

In April of 2022, she was the recipient of the UPS corporate trailblazer award for both Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
