1. Network and Build Relationships

Members join WIT to build relationships and support women in the profession, making it the perfect place to build your network! Networking plays a crucial role in professional development, and with your membership, you can build relationships in three ways:

• Mentorship – become a mentor or mentee to share experiences to foster growth and build strong, lasting connections within the trucking community.
• Online Forum – log-in to the member-only Engage forum to view a member directory, find resources and join conversations with members from around the world.
• Events – register for WIT’s Accelerate! Conference and Expo to join the premier education and networking event for women in the profession. Make sure to use your member discount!

2. Celebrate Members

Recognize the achievements of peers to inspire and celebrate women. WIT’s award programs offer a variety of ways for you to get involved. Nominate a Member of the Month, submit a photo the annual I Heart Trucking® contest or apply for your company to be recognized. Highlighting your accomplishments not only acknowledges hard work but also motivates others to aim higher. 3. Share Your Insights

• Presenting a session at the Accelerate! Conference.
• Submitting ideas for blogs, articles, or webinars.
• Participating in the mentor program

For professionals seeking new opportunities, WIT’s Job Board is a valuable resource. Post your resume to attract potential employers or browse open positions that align with your skills and aspirations. Employers can also post job openings to connect with talented women in the industry.

5. Volunteer Your Time

Volunteering is a rewarding way to give back and support WIT’s mission. Opportunities include:

• Staffing Booths at Events: Represent WIT at industry events to spread awareness and connect with attendees.
• Supporting the WITney® Educational Trailer: Assist with hauling or staffing the WITney® educational trailer, a mobile exhibit designed to inspire and inform.
