Risk Mitigation and Best-In-Class Performance
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE OPERATIONS
About This Session
What does it take for a motor carrier to identify risk, respond effectively, and maintain best-in-class performance? This session takes a practical look at the many factors that can influence a carrier’s risk profile, from understanding the strategies of plaintiff attorneys and how insurance companies assess risk to examining how the FMCSA measures on-road performance.
Attendees will gain insight into the policies, procedures, hiring practices, training, and accountability measures that can help carriers identify vulnerabilities and reduce exposure, along with recent trends in fraud, emerging attack vectors, and tactical ways to protect companies, employees, and drivers from identity theft. The session will also address the operational impact of roadside inspections, including whether carriers are building adequate time into their operations and effectively communicating the importance of clean inspections to their drivers.
By bringing these issues together, the session provides a comprehensive perspective on the risks carriers face and the strategies that can help strengthen performance across the operation.
