The trucking industry presents unique challenges to personal health and wellness — long hours on the road, limited access to healthy food, and the physical and mental demands of the job can make prioritizing well-being feel out of reach. Women in Trucking is committed to supporting members in building healthier lives, both in and out of the truck.
Join Tanya Jolliffe, leader of the WIT Health and Wellness Networking Group, and a panel of experts for an engaging conversation about what wellness really looks like in trucking. Tanya will be joined by Maggie Wolarik from Operation Broga, Alyx Henry from Project 61, and Diane Hutsell from the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund — organizations doing meaningful work to support the health of professional drivers — for a discussion covering everything from physical fitness on the road to mental health, financial wellness, and the resources available to drivers in need.
During this webinar, attendees will hear firsthand from advocates and program leaders who understand the realities of life behind the wheel and are working to make wellness more accessible to the trucking community.
