ARLINGTON, Va. – Feb. 24, 2025 – The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) announced today that Daimler Truck North America has renewed its Gold Level Partnership. The continuation of this partnership reinforces the company’s dedication to the mission of the association to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the industry.

Daimler Truck North America has been a valuable partner of WIT since 2012 and further strengthens the partnership by sponsoring the annual Influential Woman In Trucking Award, a recognition program that honors talented, resourceful, and high-performing female leaders in the industry. In addition, Kelley Martin, Director, Aftermarket Integrated Marketing at Daimler Truck North America, is serving her first year on the WIT Board of Directors.

Martin joins the board with 16 years of dedicated experience at Daimler Truck North America, where she has expertly navigated the transportation industry’s evolution from its roots to its exciting future. Martin’s career has spanned diverse roles in sales, marketing, and operations, where she has consistently driven innovation and charted new paths forward. Her partnerships with suppliers, dealers, and customers underscore her commitment to providing customized solutions that meet customers' needs with excellence.

Martin was recognized as one of WIT’s 2024 Top Women to Watch in Transportation for her significant career accomplishments and being a passionate advocate for inclusion. As an Executive Advisor for the Women’s Interactive Network (WIN) at Daimler Truck North America and a member of the STEM Advisory Board for local schools, she empowers the next generation while championing a more inclusive future in transportation. Her active role in Women In Trucking further highlights her dedication to uplifting women in the industry.

“Daimler Truck is deeply committed to supporting Women In Trucking because we believe in creating opportunities for all. By empowering women to excel in this industry, we are not only fostering inclusion, but also driving innovation and growth, strengthening the foundation of our company and the future of transportation,” said Martin.

“WIT’s goal is to be a valuable resource and powerful community for our members,” said Jennifer Hedrick, CAE, WIT president and CEO. “Prominent company leaders like Daimler Truck North America enable us to continue to make a lasting impact in the industry and to advance our mission. We are grateful for their continued support.”
