Events
Since 2007, we've been focused on a clear mission: to champion the employment and advancement of women in trucking, foster connections, and recognize achievements.
WIT is the original community supporting women in the industry, from the driver’s seat to the C-Suite, offering programs and services to help companies succeed, employees thrive, and individuals make an impact.
Gina Smith serves as the Logistics, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Instructor at Robert W. Groves High School, where she works to ensure students graduate with more than a diploma. Through industry certifications, workplace skills, and connections with employers, her students gain the tools and confidence needed to begin meaningful careers.

WIT, in partnership with TrueBlue’s Centerline Drivers, is currently accepting nominations for the 2026 Influential Woman in Trucking Award—one of the industry's highest honors recognizing women whose leadership is helping shape the future of trucking. Nomination deadline: August 31
