Nominate a Woman Who Keeps Our Industry Moving and Helps Inspire What Comes Next

Every day, women across the country are moving freight, leading by example, and showing the world what professionalism, safety, and passion look like behind the wheel. Their stories deserve to be heard, and Women In Trucking’s Image Team serves as the voice of women behind the wheel.
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Image Team. This is your opportunity to help recognize the women drivers who inspire others so they can share their experiences, advocate for the industry, and inspire the next generation.
Founded in 2015, the WIT Image Team brings together professional female drivers from all segments of the industry. Image Team members share their real-world experiences, participate in media interviews, attend industry and community events, support educational outreach, and offer ride-alongs. These women put a face to the industry and help change perceptions one conversation at a time.
Who Should You Nominate?
Think about the driver who sets the standard for safety, mentors others, speaks proudly about her career, and represents the industry with professionalism.
Nominees must be current CDL-holders actively working in the industry with a clean safety record. They should be comfortable engaging with the public and media, passionate about WIT’s mission, and willing to share their journey in person and/or online.
Nominations must be submitted by a current employer or supervisor who supports the driver’s participation and time commitment. Owner-operators are welcome to self-nominate.
What Happens Next?
Selected finalists will take part in interviews in February 2026. The WIT Image Team Class of 2026 will be revealed during the Salute to Women Behind the Wheel event at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville on March 27, 2026, an event that celebrates both individual achievement and the collective impact of women in trucking.
